Why do you want to join the staff team? (200 Words Minimum)
I'd like to join the staff team because I very much enjoy playing with the Zenith Community. There's a lot of great people, fun times, and genuine RP moments that make playing the game worth it. Because of that, I also know that there will be people who also join the community with the intent to create problems or maybe people who are genuinely unsure of the rules and need guidance. Whichever happens, I know I'd like to be someone to help individuals out with ensuring that they are following the rules but also being a part of the community. I think being a part of the staff team that enforces the rules but also helps grow the community is something I would like to be a part of. I know I can do a lot for this community and I'd like to show that.
Part of being staff is not only dedication to the community, it's also a promise to be a part of it more. Not only that, but taking on a staff role is also showing willingness to become a role model. When someone enforces the rule, they'd be damn sure to follow it themselves, and shows what it means to actually be a part of the community, which means being involved.
Why should we accept you into the staff team?
I believe that my determination to keep a community enjoyable for everyone and wanting to be more involved from a staff perspective is the reason as to why I should be accepted into the staff team.
What staffing experience do you currently have?
I was a moderator or senior moderator for several months with Zenith Project. I left due to military duties that pulled me away.

Define RDM:
Random Deathmatch means killing without an actual reason. For example, if someone just starts randomly shooting at people and they aren't hostile towards each other, per say, like a medical trainee and a security guard, but the trainee decides to start randomly blasting, that's RDM because there wasn't a legitimate reason behind it. Had the guard proven to be a mimic or something, and the trainee knew that, that is grounds to shoot the guard.
Define Metagame:
Metagaming is essentially knowing something that you obtained from out of character, and then you use it in character, even though the character literally had no way of knowing that information. Like, if I knew 'Dionysus''s character name for some reason out of character, and then I use that in character and call him by that name, even though I had no way of knowing that information, then that is metagaming.
Define NLR:
NLR is the cooldown timer after being killed and respawning. It varies depending on raid or basic combat, but the new life rule essentially says you cannot leave your bunks until the raid timer is complete (if you were in a raid) or until the timer on your screen is up (if it was basic combat). Unless specifically stated otherwise, all players must honor the NLR. The only time where NLR can be nullified is if given permission by event staff for an event or due to whatever valid reason from management.
Define FailRP:
FailRP is breaking the rules of the RP set in place by the community, and also breaks the immersion. This can also include breaking FearRP, which includes being required to fear for your life in character depending on the situation as to why, and saying "out of character" while IN character. FailRP, in short, is breaking the RP rules that cause IC disruption of RP, messing up a scene, or anything else that could ruin the RP experience for the other person.

Situation-based Questions Section
| Player “X” reports player “Y” for RDM, the logs show that player “Y” did kill player “X”, both players are GenSec trainees. Player “X” states that there was no reason for him to be killed, player “Y” states that they were in an argument, player “X” made a nasty remark and player “Y” killed him for it. Neither party has a recording of the interaction, and no witnesses have come forward with any more information, what would you do? Since there isn't a recording or any other witness statements, it turns into a "he said, she said" moment, so depending on the remark made, player X could be put on watch for reported insults depending if they were IC or not, and player Y would also be put on watch and warned for killing without a legitimate reason. Realistically, both of them would be given the rulebook and told to work it out either in a staff sit or to keep away from each other, also reminding them that this is a game and more importantly, an RP server. |

| Player “A” reports player “B” for saying a racial slur, player “A” is uploading evidence, but it is taking a few moments. During this time, player “B” admits he used the slang term towards another player on the server. After receiving the video, you notice that player “B” in fact did say in it a greeting manor and not a confrontational manner. How would you handle this sit? Saying any type of racial slur, confrontational or not, is still strictly forbidden and can still hold punishment. First, I'd ask a member or management or an admin for guidance on the level of punishment that needs to be enforced for this situation, and then based on guidance I would go ahead and likely punish player "B". Depending on the situation, the best situation is an introductory warning and the worst being a ban for a certain period of time. |
