EC Based Questions
Why do you want to join the EC team? (200 word minimum)
To be quite blunt hosting events seems like good fun. During the summers I often get into a large bit of literature and a lot of time to just move on a mower and let my mind wonder or listen to books and songs. At times I'll be listening to a book and be like "Woah, that sounds like it would be really interesting to have a character / concept like that in zenith. Imagine if they were part of a faction from a world of one controlled city that branches to other dimensions to harvest useful anomalies. Or a self-conscious woman actress who seeks validation and undergoes anomalous treatment to keep that believed beauty. That sounds really interesting, too bad there isn't something like that." And then I was like hey, I can apply to be an ec to do that. Making anomalies based off themes and such sounds quite fun and something I'm interested in. It'd be fun to challenge morality of characters and what they would be willing to trade. Thinking of EC things, I think it'd be cool to make more potentially utilizable scp's (giving it to the faction that could use it least at first) that could provide interacting experiences or usefulness if used creatively. That and putting people wanting to pk their character as a permeant fixture in events, either as another face into a string of consciousnesses that makes one body whose personality is switched on a random interval, a collective consciousness of downloaded brains, or being turned into a stone that does something cool based off the person's life. I really don't know what else to say here to reach the word minimum though I think I made my point. EC sounds like a fun platform to share interesting ideas or stories, and I'd enjoy others enjoying that.
Why should we accept you in the EC team?
I've been described as a creative person, and I think I could provide interesting predicaments to players with interactable anomalies or items.
On a scale of 1-10, how well do you know the Gmod tools?
7, I understand most tools but I'm pretty lowsy with commands or would be with server specific things like the gates. Other than that though I get most of it
What is the purpose of the EC Team?
Providing players with interesting interactable experiences and being available, when possible, to help others doing events
If accepted into the EC team, do you have any event ideas that you would like to host?
I have quite a few. I was waiting on making this because I was planning to do it in the summer then procrastinated a little during the summer. I've been keeping track of some of my ideas since I was planning though which includes a larger scale anomalous group who has a dystopian like society who goes world from world looking for useful items for their society's 'wellness' which would entail contacting nearby factions and the realization of each faction of their immoral practices which would include a variety of anomalous people like someone who can teleport based off photos or paintings they are currently looking at or someone who emits smoke that bottles their experienced emotions into a bottle that can be consumed to experience the emotions. Or perhaps a surgeon who keeps doing impossible things to people for a grand purpose like providing eternal beauty and hollowing out a 1930's inspired singer for her influence, making an organized mass of muscle for muscle in their organization, or a man whose senses have been multiplied intensely at his deficit all revolving around themes of self-valuation. There's other smaller events / things that keep to themselves as well such as a basket of eggs which when left in a warm area will hatch an egg that hatches into an almost identical clone (Just copying the player model) of whoever last touched it or whoever is closest if no one touched it, a ship that hunts giant sea beasts, or an anomaly that replaces a person for x amount of days unable to interact with anyone or anything other than leaving some faint grip marks or knocking down light things as if they were a ghost (not including their "replacement" who would just be them walking around normally which I think would be fun to act out as their character when they come back to slime out their replacement.) These are all kinda vague and such but uhh I didn't want to fill this thing up too much, but you get at the sort of things I'd be interested in hosting.
