Why do you want to join the staff team? (200 Words Minimum)

I want to join the staff team because I genuinely enjoy the server. I used to be a member of another server like this and I enjoyed it, but this one feels genuine and very truthfully fun and caring. Everyone is always ready to help one another, and every time I get on, I'm finding that it's never a dull time. It's rare to find that in online communities nowadays, and I'm happy to have found this server. So, in return, I want to help out as much as I can. I want to keep this server going for a good while. I may not know exactly what I can do personally, but I'm willing to try my best and give it my all.

I essentially just want to be able to give people a reason to keep getting on the server. Whether it's giving them a fun experience, helping them figure out how to do things on the server, or even just being a friendly face to greet them. The staff I've met so far have been awesome people, and it's because of their hard work I keep coming back. In the end, if I can give some players a good reason to keep coming back on the server, it'll be worth it.

Why should we accept you into the staff team?

To be honest, I don't have any major reasons to give. I'll be blunt, I know little technical things here and there, but other than that I'm just a pretty average guy. I just want to help out as much as I can and hopefully learn some stuff too. I enjoy my time with the people here and even the staff I've met have been really chill people.

What staffing experience do you currently have?

I don't have much. I mean I used to run guilds on some games; I was also staff for a few different RP communities. So, I have some basic knowledge, like writing incident reports, monitoring posts and uploads. I guess I also can include keeping engagement up with the community and trying to bring in new ideas.

Rule-based Questions Section
Define RDM:
RDM is the act of killing another player without having a valid reason. It is considered possible trolling and griefing and can ruin other players experiences on the server. In short, you can't just kill another player just because you thought it would be funny, or they irritated you, or even just because you felt like it.

Define Metagame:
Metagame is defined by multiple terms. It can be giving your team info while your downed, allowing your team to get an unfair advantage. It can also count as using certain tools or tricks just to gain an advantage, which ruins other players' experience. Best example is, just because you can see that someone playing a scout can hear your in-game mic, doesn't mean you can immediately take action and reveal their location, you must commit to the roleplay and wait until you can see them, or they engage in combat with you.

Define NLR:
NLR = New life rule or No longer remember (as I knew it by). This means if your character dies in game, you must forget everything that happened before you respawn. Act as if you just woke up or just got back on duty. It helps to keep things fair and not ruin the balance. If a breach occurs and you died to the SCP, you can't immediately run back to where you were. You must wait 2 minutes, after which you may then ask what's going on and then rejoin the action.

Define FailRP:
FailRP is when someone acts or plays in a way that doesn't fit the narrative. This cause disruption and makes it hard for others to enjoy the server, or an event that might be taking place. This breaks immersion and ruins gameplay, all because someone wants to say F-IT and do their own thing.

Situation-based Questions Section
Player “X” reports player “Y” for RDM, the logs show that player “Y” did kill player “X”, both players are GenSec trainees. Player “X” states that there was no reason for him to be killed, player “Y” states that they were in an argument, player “X” made a nasty remark and player “Y” killed him for it. Neither party has a recording of the interaction, and no witnesses have come forward with any more information, what would you do?

Seeing that neither party has any conclusive evidence, and they're not being any witnesses. I would maybe give both a verbal warning, but I think I'd lean more towards just giving them both a quick little advisement and tell them to apologize to each other. I would then keep an eye on them for a bit, just to ensure no more issues occur. If they happen to continue with more RDMing, then I'll issue both an official warning.

Player “A” reports player “B” for saying a racial slur, player “A” is uploading evidence, but it is taking a few moments. During this time, player “B” admits he used the slang term towards another player on the server. After receiving the video, you notice that player “B” in fact did say in it a greeting manor and not a confrontational manner. How would you handle this sit?

This is a tricky situation. I would give "B" a warning due to having evidence of the word being used. I wouldn't be too aggressive as I've seen it was merely just an incident of different views on the term and its usage. I would advise "B' to refrain from using the word from there on, as to try and keep from more incidents like this occurring. Racism is not allowed in our community at all, while some slang may be used as greetings for some, it can lead to others feeling hurt or offended, which we don't want.
