EC Based Questions

Why do you want to join the EC team? (200 word minimum)

I have come back revitalized with more ideas, I have also come back significantly changed after realizing how in depth the planning goes for event characters and events as a whole, i want to be able to help and create at the same time. When it comes to SCP RP, while chaotic situations do bring entertainment, even more is enjoyed from the meticulous crafting that comes in making an event, to be able to create tension and even make connections happen between the different server factions through them.

I have always been interested in the creativity side when it comes to SCP-RP, my previous work with regards to the sentient hivemind event and the planning I did as a tec for that I would like to bring up as an example, unfortunately that level of creativity fell into itself due to personal lack of planning , that said with the time away i have had more experience in building and crafting experiences and the added patience towards refining content as well as truly instilling feedback given to me.

A third reason is that when it comes to events, they can help elevate the environment of the server overall, being able to help integrate newer players into the overall environment that the server fosters through activities, wanting to give our more steeled players more fresh content to engage with. Compared to myself in the past I have grown to really implement feedback and most of all, that previous want to be recognized for my events that I make has been replaced more with a want for facilitating new roleplay opportunities and making sure folks have fun!

Why should we accept you in the EC team?

As previously mentioned, my current schedule has loosened up significantly giving me more time to be able to plan events, assist people and work with others. I also have previous knowledge of being a TEC and with that being able to understand the preexisting structure and how to integrate myself into it. I have had experience with the tools that GMOD has that we use for our events. Along with that I have previously worked with some of the EC's on the server and cannot wait to learn more from them to become an even better TEC.

On a scale of 1-10, how well do you know the Gmod tools?

10

What is the purpose of the EC Team?

The purpose of the EC Team is to create memorable events for the players of the Zenith Project SCP RP Gmod server as well as assist in tests by flagging on as anomalies for science and other departments on the server so that roleplay and progress can be made. We utilize our understanding in building events and overall willingness to assist other ec's to make sure that there is continuous entertainment on the server.

If accepted into the EC team, do you have any event ideas that you would like to host?

Yes

Yes

Do you have a Discord account?

Yes it is ExoSphall

Yes I should be able to.

EDIT: If accepted into the EC team, do you have any event ideas that you would like to host?

I do in fact. Its even a full anomaly!

EVENT: SCP-████ — “THE ASSEMBLY”

Object Class: KETER

CORE CONCEPT (OOC FOR STAFF)

SCP-████ is not one entity. the collective HUME readings have somehow bonded these items.

It is a collection of anomalous physical objects and creatures that only function correctly when separated. When contained together—or even near each other—they begin to reassemble into something worse.

The Foundation screwed up by storing them “efficiently.”

Now they’re waking up.

IC DESCRIPTION (WHAT PLAYERS ARE TOLD INITIALLY)

“Multiple low-risk anomalous items undergoing consolidation review in Storage Wing-C. No hostile entities reported. Routine reassignment approved.”

This is a lie. Individually, they’re manageable.
Together, they’re a Keter-class disaster.

Each Anomalous Item is as follows:

Anomalous Item A: SCP-████-01

The Gentleman's Hand: A mechanical assembly arm which appears to believe itself to be a 1970's Tailor, seemingly able to create clothing out of whatever materials it is given which will inherit the properties of the materials.

If this entity is destroyed, the other items will attempt to repair it and if unable to, the other related entities become unstable for 15 minutes and may become violent. (ooc).

Anomalous Item B: SCP-████-07

C.A.C.H.E (Cybernetic Access & Credential Harvesting Entity): Built in the early 2000's this mechanical hound was built to copy clearance levels of keycards and gather information, was commissioned by a high ranking individual from Site--████ as they had unfortunately had their sight compromised, this entity however ended up becoming anomalous through a HUME emitting event, causing for the machine to gain heightened autonomous intelligence, decision-making capabilities, and apparent situational awareness exceeding that of its programmed parameters. It still remains loyal to the Foundation and those related to its previous owner however it was placed in a dampening container and deactivated for fear of misuse.

If this entity is destroyed, any related entities will flee and refuse to work with combative foundation personnel for approximately 5 days (ooc).

Anomalous item C: SCP-████-22

The Conductor: A conductor's wand crafted from an unknown mechanical alloy embedded with a processor, speaker and wiring. When activated the item will await its user to point at a mechanical or non mechanical item and will emit a sound frequency that correlates to the function intended by the user.

Destruction of this entity will cause a blackout in a medium radius, causing all mechanical doors to be shut, for ventilation to be shut off and all mechanical devices to be down, requiring for site technicians to extract those trapped and repair the afflicted sections.

Should all three anomalies manage to merge together, they create "The Assembly"

A massive structural anomaly which takes the form of an ever growing factory, every hour it rapidly expands and will reinforce its prexisting structures with spawned minions and turrets.

(This event will take place on the event server with an appropriate map)

The overall objective of the event is that overtime the foundation must prevent these anomalies from getting too close to one another and all three require human interaction.
