Staffing Related Section
Why do you want to join the staff team? (200 Words Minimum)
I really enjoy the server and enjoy everyone who is a part of it, as well as those who work on it. My way of showing this appreciation is providing acts of service. I think I could provide some of my talents to help the great people who make everything run the way it does!

I also really enjoy doing small, tedious tasks, so I figure it could be a useful skill to throw out there to provide support when it’s needed. I want to be able to give back to all the folks who work their tails off to make sure things run smoothly and be there as a support for them. I want to be a reason why people want to come back for more and inspire more to take up more active positions in the server!

All the staff folk are so kind and understanding, this is the first time I’ve experienced a Gmod server on such a delightful level. I know it sounds goofy and mushy but the place makes me happy, I want to help spread the love and keep the staff machine a-chugging!

I also see occasionally during the hours I tend to be on, there’s maybe one or two mods online, since I have such weird hours I feel I could help cover blind spots and gaps for when folks are sleeping or busy!

Why should we accept you into the staff team?
While I might be silly and goofy, and I know I have a rep now for the things I've drawn I feel like I'm more than capable of handling situations and ensuring that everything remains orderly.
I'm capable of ensuring rules are followed to every letter, and I like to think my demeanor lends well to de-escalating situations!

What staffing experience do you currently have?
I have some minor admin staffing and event staffing experience from another Gmod sever, "Diverge." It was smaller scale, but I spent a good 3-4 months acting as a mini mod when the staff needed the oversight and running small events for folk when things were slow!

Rule-based Questions Section
Define RDM:
Random Death Match - This is when one player attacks and kills another player for no particular reason.
I.E Random Nu7 walks up on a medical MI and guns them down without a word.

Define Metagame:
Metagaming - using knowledge ooc knowledge that your character would have no way of knowing ic. For example, a random civi somehow knowing the CI are secretly planning something because the civil player saw a private comm's message from ci player A to ci player B, despite having no feasible way of knowing said information.

Define NLR:
New Life Rule -
When you die, you lose any knowledge about your death and have to wait in your spawn area for 120 seconds. This time is subject to change based on if a raid happened or not.

Define FailRP:
Fail rp is when one participant of an RP, as the name implies, fails to RP properly. An example of daily rp would be an scp not following their set rules correctly, or someone ignoring FEAR rp by running away despite having multiple guns trained on them.

Situation-based Questions Section

Player “X” reports player “Y” for RDM, the logs show that player “Y” did kill player “X”, both players are GenSec trainees. Player “X” states that there was no reason for him to be killed, player “Y” states that they were in an argument, player “X” made a nasty remark and player “Y” killed him for it. Neither party has a recording of the interaction, and no witnesses have come forward with any more information, what would you do?

After hearing both sides of the situation, I would gently talk to the two individuals, I would resolve the conflict, remind both of the rules, and issue a verbal warning. If this was the first time for both players and they had no prior history of actions like these, I feel there's no need for serious punishment. However, there would be some level of monitoring after the situation has settled to ensure there are no retaliatory actions.

Player “A” reports player “B” for saying a racial slur, player “A” is uploading evidence, but it is taking a few moments. During this time, player “B” admits he used the slang term towards another player on the server. After receiving the video, you notice that player “B” in fact did say in it a greeting manor and not a confrontational manner. How would you handle this sit?
I would pull player B aside and ask that they avoid using that language in the future. I would remind them that it is unacceptable regardless of it was meant as a greeting and ensure they understand that there is no ill will behind the warning. Assuming this is a singular occurrence and the first time it has happened.
