Roy Goldberg born in Manhattan, New York had a relatively normal life up until college where he pursued a degree in Financial Accounting, and a minor in Criminal Law. After a few years of operating independently writing off taxes, and compiling accounting profiles for clients he pursued a job within the white collar crimes unit of the Federal Bureau of Investigation. Being found out for foul play during an internal investigation he was recommended for the undesired unit of the FBI, the Unusual Incidents Unit. Granting him access to clandestine information, and a new understanding of the anomalous world which hid in the shadows.
Roy would soon become a member of the UIU's record keeping, and financials department. Opting to familiarize himself in the open world of finance, and learning the politics behind the many Groups of Interest which pulled strings in the business world. During an operation where numerous houses were bought up, and sold to minor groups of interest Roy found himself in a gunfight, after being wounded he was transferred to the Twin Peaks installation, and now goes about his usual duties.
