Outside of SPMI work, Dr. Hardman has experience providing clinical mental health services to primarily adult populations with comorbid mental health diagnoses and substance use such as alcohol and opioid use. Dr. Hardman brings valuable mental health skills that can support SCP Foundation sites/areas housing Keter and Euclid-class SCPs to provide appropriate counseling, substance use prevention, and a new perspective on research. Dr. Hardman's applied focus on health psychology focuses on how biological, social, and psychological factors influence human health and illnesses.
