History: Attended the University of Berlin for 7 years before achieving his degree, at which point, he interned at the CERN facility in Switzerland at the recommendation of his professor. He slowly, over the course of 11 years, made his way up the chain of command in the facility. One day, while working of a criticality test, he accidentally added too much of a sample of Plutonium 239 to the test chamber, engaging criticality. The incident caused the deaths of 2 other researchers. One of which being his friend from college.
In the aftermath, he was arrested, tried, and convicted of the mishandling of nuclear materials. at which point he was sent to prison. From there, in an effort to hopefully still take part in the field of science that he so loved, he signed up for inmate testing, where he was promptly shipped to Site-66 and rescued by CI.

Gerde Richter - Mother, deceased, died of natural causes in 2006.
Otto Von Richter - Father, Deceased, died in a car crash in 1994.
