"Spotted four up ahead."

Quick movements hidden by the blaze of fire between them and the enemy.

"Take point,
Druid."

Hesitation. Trust from command.

"Understood, sir."

Trust he squanders and fails to live up to.

A rifle raised, another follows. Two shots in rapid succession mark the end of his career.

The halls of Site-66's entrance zone were humiliating. He glanced to his right.

"Name's
Druid. Good to meet you."

Druid was showing signs of exhaustion. He commonly came out of his bunks disoriented, commonly taking a nap of some kind. The medical supervisor disliked this fact heavily, but had chalked it up to Site-66 just being a strange site. The people here probably just made him more tired, it's why his memory was beginning to falter.

A journal contained within a locker was scanned quickly but effectively. Thoughts written down onto paper, paper put into a digital database for anyone L3+ to glance at. A man's inability to connect with reminders of his past, laid bare onto a single document hidden away in Site-66's personnel folder.

A medical supervisor speaks to his assigned agent, speaking a few simple words as he submits his writings:

"This should be enough."

// Updated. Focusing on more hints to Druid's backstory alongside character relations.

Insanity is, most often, something that's said as hyperbole. Used as the butt of a joke, or to make yourself seem relatable. Insanity shares this in common with OCD, intrusive thoughts, and other similar afflictions.

"God, my OCD is acting up from seeing this thing be slightly wrong."

"That outfit combination is making me go insane!"

"My intrusive thoughts are telling me to buy this cute plushie!"

It's a joke. Each and every time, it continues to lessen the real affect of telling people you have these different illnesses and afflictions.

Druid, however, *did* experience parts of these afflictions. Primarily intrusive thoughts as he spoke to the various personnel on site. Not the "haha I wanna kill this person" sorta way, but more so... rude words, ideas, conversation topics.

Oh well. We'll get em' next time.

// Updated. Added music choices- most of them are IC, but some of them are OOC.

Druid crouched down, looking at his flowers. He hadn't done this since... fuck, since before Beta-4, really. He stared down at these plants and remembered a better time. One where he wasn't so plagued by the anomalous world. Flowers weren't really.. his major interest. He was an "animal dude" after all, but others saw him as a "nature enjoyer".

In reality, he didn't care about the flowers themselves. He cared about what they represented to others. For example, the Belladonna. It's a beautiful flower, but incredibly toxic. Similar to that of a venus fly trap, except it isn't malicious. It just does what it knows to do in order to not die.

... but you could say the same of the venus fly trap, couldn't you? It had to kill, and kill, and kill, and kill just to survive. What's the point? *Is* there a point to surviving? What's next?

Druid didn't know for sure, but... deep down, he had some sort of idea.

// Updated. Changed around a few logs, added some new ones, and made a Goals section along with a Garden section.

Druid was sleeping in his bunks. He considered just how small his circle of allies truly was- just two, maybe three, people he could consider trustworthy. Friends.

Was this because he couldn't make the proper connection between "friend", "ally", and "random person he met"?

He doesn't know. But today is another day, I suppose it so.

// Updated, added the first log, a biography, and a fuck ton of pictures.

Druid failed.

There's just nothing else to say on the matter.

// Updated. New log added, new flower in the garden, and a file for the lost.

ERROR. ERROR. ERROR.

FILE DELETED.

REUPLOADING BACKUP...

The failure that Druid experienced the week before with Bluenose? Child's play compared to his newest blunders.

Conneley. Judas. Amnesia. Attempts at helping them turned out to all be failures. Every choice he makes, whether or not he thinks it through, all result in failures. Again, and again, and again.

He needs to order those flowers soon. Druid decides he's gonna go back to focusing on his medic work for a while.

// Update. New log, new relations, update to old relations.

It was a slow month, really. Outside of the entity in his head. And getting closer with the people he trusts. And all of the Sarkic bullshit he puts up with.

Druid was getting used to the site. Unfortunately.

// Updated. Few new relations.
