Test Idea: Is 999 modular? Can he be put back together if sliced apart?

Hypothesis: I hypothesize that 999 is, indeed, modular and that pieces of him can be put back into place, and reabsorbed if reintroduced after being cut off.

Personnel / Equipment Involved: 999, a scalpel, glue

Results: The glue was not needed; three samples were cut from 999 and then reintroduced to his body within a couple of minutes. As expected, the samples were reabsorbed, however, the samples were absorbed and then filled in where they were originally cut. For example, when sample one was introduced to cut three, 999 absorbed the slime and cut one, where the sample was originally taken from, was filled in.
This was also the case when a sample was introduced to an untouched, uncut area.
