In your own words, describe this SCP. (100 words minimum):
| SCP-049 is a humanoid figure that wears black robes, gloves, and a mask resembling a medieval plague doctor. SCP-049 is sentient and can speak multiple languages, though it prefers English and Medieval French. SCP-049 is generally cordial with foundation staff and has quite the intellect. SCP-049 has displayed remarkable medical knowledge and has even been able to assist with modern surgery. However, it will become enranged when in contact with something referred to as the "pestilence". Though plenty of testing has been done the Pestilence is an indeterminate disease that only 049 can detect. When enraged SCP-049 will kill instantly with a single touch of its palm and begin surgery on those it deems to have the Pestilence. Once completed the corpse will generally reanimate becoming SCP-049-2 and will be completely loyal to SCP-049. |

How is the SCP maintained?:
| SCP-049 may request a patient to test if they have the pestilence. Upon being granted a patient with the Pestilence SCP-049 will begin surgery and be successfully maintained. If the patient does not have the pestilence the timer will not be reset. SCP-049 can also request a walk and will need to put on gloves and be guarded by a researcher/medical and another combative. |
| Yes, SCP-049 must hunt down a person with the pestilence and is immune to fearRP during this time. Once SCP-049 has "cured" someone he will make his way to 035 and attempt to put the mask on any nearby person or zombie. He will then escape to the town in search of more victims. |
