EC Based Questions
Why do you want to join the EC team? (200 word minimum)
The reasons I have are more or less the same as when I previously applied for EC. I was a previous member of Staff and realized that the side of the server handling management and administration was perfectly capable on its own and my help wasn't really needed there. What I did believe I could help with was the variety and quantity of events and roleplay opportunities. It's also always been my want to write and tell stories for people to just enjoy, I don't have an outlet for it and I never get the chance normally so this would give me that opportunity. There's also a lot more variety and things the EC team gets to do that the normal player base tends not to have access to by way of their current position as regular human beings (normally).
Of course, there's also the ability to eventually (possibly) become a Storywriter within the server and have the ability to do more influential and impactful events which I do hope to be able to achieve with EC but would be limited by canon. Finally there's the aspect of being able to do more stuff with people on the server beyond what I'm capable of giving in the somewhat limited scope of a player-character, there is a lot more fluidity and dynamic possibilities among EC, which would give me more opportunities to do what I would see as creatively fulfilling.
Why should we accept you in the EC team?
From my previous application I believe I've done a lot to prove myself as someone who is capable of and fully able to roleplay effectively. I have also acted in a few events and have a fairly reasonable grasp on the creative process of the server as well as the fundamentals for event and storyline creation on the server. On top of that I am fairly knowledgeable on the fundamentals of storytelling due to my own study of writing and narrative, both conceptually and (a good bit) fundamentally.
On a scale of 1-10, how well do you know the Gmod tools?

What is the purpose of the EC Team?
To provide interesting, fun, or emotionally fulfilling storylines, narratives, and characters inside of ZP without interfering with the established lore. On top of that, to provide avenues for roleplay besides player-player interactions.
If accepted into the EC team, do you have any event ideas that you would like to host?
I've had the idea of an event surrounding a research site that seems to have been overrun in all readings but is perfectly normal and running fine when visited by those who took interest in the event, a blizzard causes the force to have to wait out the storm with the research-site, things advance as the power goes out and people investigating find out that there was a containment breach of a Mimic-like anomaly being researched, Paranoia, etc. (I haven't fully worked out the concept but I plan to decouple it from how thing-like it is)
While I know Alternate Reality stuff is kind of iffy in relation to the EC team, I do really like the idea of coming into contact with alternate reality anomalies occasionally coming into our reality to feed on energy, EVE, etc. and the players who show interest in the event eventually having to discover how to reach this Alternate Reality (or a proxy of it) and destroy it to prevent it from coming into our reality and slowly subsuming humanity over millennia.
