Why do you want to join the staff team? (200 Words Minimum)
I want to become staff because I care about the community and I want to become a more active participant in ensuring it is organized, fun, and fair for everyone. I have spent a lot of time at this community and have come to appreciate the ambience, people, and experiences. The staff team seems to serve as the maintainers of order, fair treatment, and smooth operations. This is the group I am interested in being a part of. I may be perfect for staff because I think I stay calm when things get stressful and I have tried to listen to the vibes then walk through each situation before I make a decision. I recognize that the rules are important and need to be to followed impartially and appropriately. I will be specifically tasked with helping new members, mediating between players, or intervening when everything is too much. I will not get caught up in the expediency of power and fame; I am simply here to try to promote a community I have genuinely enjoyed. I am open to input, welcome feedback, I accept constructive criticism, and I recognize the value of team collaboration; therefore, I feel I have professional qualities that will benefit the staff team amid ensuring a fair environment for all while making an authentic impact.
Why should we accept you into the staff team?
I believe I would be a great addition to the staff team because I am reliable and fair and want to help improve the community. I know it is very important for staff to remain professional and calm under pressure, and also that staff must remain consistent on how they handle situations. I understand the rules, and I will enforce them in a respectful and fair manner.
I am always consistent, active, and observant, and I try to get on when I am needed. I always try to deal with everything in a respectful and mature fashion. I will always take all situations seriously, no matter what. Whether it is just to help a new player learn how to play, to handle a report, or to calm two players down who are arguing over the smallest event. I understand working together is important, and keeping the lines of communication open with the other staff will help make sure everything runs smoothly.
I am not looking for power, prestige, or status. I would like to help out and give back to a community that I have a lot of fun working with! If I am provided the opportunity to be on staff, I promise I will make every effort to be an asset to the server, and I work hard with professionalism.
What staffing experience do you currently have?
I've Been a staff member in a ton of Star wars RP, Police Rp, and others.

Player “X” reports player “Y” for RDM, the logs show that player “Y” did kill player “X”, both players are GenSec trainees. Player “X” states that there was no reason for him to be killed, player “Y” states that they were in an argument, player “X” made a nasty remark and player “Y” killed him for it. Neither party has a recording of the interaction, and no witnesses have come forward with any more information, what would you do? I would pull the both of them into a staff sit and ask for both sides of the story. After listening to the both of them, I would pull up chat logs to see if anything was said to them over text chat. I would proceed issue verbal warnings due to lack of substantial evidence (if nothing was found in text chat) and kindly ask them to get a recording the next time it happens. |

Player “A” reports player “B” for saying a racial slur, player “A” is uploading evidence, but it is taking a few moments. During this time, player “B” admits he used the slang term towards another player on the server. After receiving the video, you notice that player “B” in fact did say in it a greeting manor and not a confrontational manner. How would you handle this sit? I would begin by reviewing the evidence provided to me with high regard for the rules that apply to the server. After looking over the evidence, I would notify Player B of the rules and tell him racial slurs are never allowed, whether they are used in a greeting manner or confrontational. I would then issue them a warning/ban based off of the severity of what was said. |
