Why do you want to join the staff team? (200 Words Minimum)

I was previously staff on ZP back in beta, or around the beginning of 2023 and I wasn't able to do much as I had a lot going on during that time (such as work and personal things). I am wanting to join the staff team as I am coming back to the community and wanting to help as much as I can, in and out of server. I believe being a part of the staff team can offer a presence within the community that I share a lot of common interests in. Being part of the staff, I could have a chance at developing personal characteristics, such as leadership and communication skills, and give myself the little challenge of making sure everyone's experience is fair and positive in a professional environment. Being a part of the staff team is a duty of high honor as I see it, and I would love a second chance at doing so. I also believe it would give me a chance to support the community I love and interact with a lot more liked-minded individuals. As such, I am putting in a second staff application in order to do the duties I never got to fully be a part of.

Why should we accept you into the staff team?

I believe I should be accepted as I have a high morale for the rules, and can create a positive environment for everyone to play with. I may not live on the server but during my time I believe I can make a difference, even if it is super miniscule.

What staffing experience do you currently have?

I was previously staff on Zenith SCPRP back in 2023 during beta.

Rule-based Questions Section
Define RDM:
Random Death Match, better known as RDM, is whenever a death happens with no valid RP reason. An example is a GENSEC PVT gunning down and killing other GENSEC for no reason at all.



Define Metagame:
Metagame is the use of OOC content, such as chats or images or even videos/streams, in an IC manner. An example is if someone says their location in OOC and someone uses that info IC to go and kill them.



Define NLR:
New Life Rule, better known as NLR, is whenever you die and respawn, you have no information that you previously held to a minor standard (does not apply to character relations or stories). An example is if a Foundation gets scouted and dies and respawns, he shouldn't know that he was scouted IC.



Define FailRP:
FailRP is the failure to roleplay with others. An example can vary from RDM, all the way to powergaming, such as - CI is going to capture a member of Foundation and is putting them under FearRP. In the process of doing so, the player under FearRP ignores FearRP rules and proceeds to shoot those trying to capture them.



Situation-based Questions Section

Player “X” reports player “Y” for RDM, the logs show that player “Y” did kill player “X”, both players are GenSec trainees. Player “X” states that there was no reason for him to be killed, player “Y” states that they were in an argument, player “X” made a nasty remark and player “Y” killed him for it. Neither party has a recording of the interaction, and no witnesses have come forward with any more information, what would you do?

I would pull the both of them into a staff sit and ask for both sides of the story. After listening to the both of them, I would pull up chat logs to see if anything was said to them over text chat. I would proceed issue verbal warnings due to lack of substantial evidence (if nothing was found in text chat) and kindly ask them to get a recording the next time it happens.

Player “A” reports player “B” for saying a racial slur, player “A” is uploading evidence, but it is taking a few moments. During this time, player “B” admits he used the slang term towards another player on the server. After receiving the video, you notice that player “B” in fact did say in it a greeting manor and not a confrontational manner. How would you handle this sit?

I would begin by reviewing the evidence provided to me with high regard for the rules that apply to the server. After looking over the evidence, I would notify Player B of the rules and tell him racial slurs are never allowed, whether they are used in a greeting manner or confrontational. I would then issue them a warning/ban based off of the severity of what was said.

(Staff meetings will be held weekly on Saturday at 3:30 PM EST).
As stated above, my schedules change every month, being I work 6am-6:30pm CST Tuesday through Thursday one month and 6am-6:30pm CST Friday through Monday the next month.
