Surgery Information: The patient was brought in by MTF Nu-7 XO 'Red' for IED wounds. Given 1x saline bag, 2x O- blood bags, and 1x surgical anesthesia pack intravenously.
Initial Injuries: 4x chest shrapnel wounds. 3x left arm scrapes. 1x left leg laceration. 5x right arm burn wounds (1), 3x right leg burn wounds (1), 1x left leg burn wound (1).
Surgery Summary: Initial surgery performed without issue. Left leg wound laceration required secondary incision for tension release on muscle and skin for stitching. Burns given standard treatment. No internal damage. Moved to Post-Op for recovery (See Conclusion for Post-Op Incident 1)
Surgery Conclusion: Performed without issue. Post-Op governed by Dr. Cassidy Woods. Post-Op continued normally until a Code Grey and subsiquent Code White was called. Patient awoke, despite anesthesia. Patient and governing doctor moved to Medical Bay Shelter for Code White. Chest wounds required additional medical care due to movement. Applied using in-field equipment by Dr. Cassidy Woods. ECG brought to Shelter showed signs of either arrhythmia or a heart attack (Pending secondary review). AED applied, shocked 4x times. 2x automatic by AED, 2x manual by Dr. Cassidy Woods. Heart abnormalities cleared after 4th shock. Given water and monitored for next 30 minutes until going to sleep. On remote monitoring and regular check ups. Patient in recovery for 3 days minimum. At monitored risk for post-operation complications.
