SCP-860-1 Exploration Test
Conducted by Dr. Johnston Wayfiyld
[ LEVEL 2 CLEARANCE IS REQUIRED PAST THIS POINT ]
[ AUTHORIZED PERSONNEL ONLY ]
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Test Idea: Use D-Class to learn about and explore our section of SCP-860-1.
Hypothesis: All four D-Class will die, but we'll have footage that allows us to estimate the size and complexity of the forest as well as how many instances of SCP-860-2 might be in the area.
Personnel / Equipment Involved: One spool of heavy duty audio/video streaming cable with motor (designed and put together by me), one laptop, four vests equipped with small durable cameras and microphones, four Class-D personnel, three GENSEC Guards, one Research Overseer for supervision, $4,000.
Results: All of the D-Class made it all the way through the forest unharmed, although the first one ran in before putting on the equipment. One D-Class happened to hit every single dead end on the way through, allowing me to map our entire sector of SCP-860-1. There were no instances of SCP-860-2 that were spotted on the camera, or picked up by the mic. None of the D-Class noticed anything particularly strange about the forest other than the doors, the heavy fog, and how they entered and exited. All of the D-Class were paid $1,000 each and given Class-A amnestics at the end of the test.

Additional Comments If Needed: We may have landed a particularly peaceful sector of SCP-860-1, which could allow for more direct testing in the future without having to use D-Class.
