By 25 he had established himself enough at studies and efforts to join site ////'s medical staff full time. He continued his work and studies before concluding his doctorate after transfering to Site 17. At site 17 he convinced his third cousin Kerrik Felran to join the foundation medical staff at Site 73, a transfer that would prove fatal to Kerrik at the end of a psychotic researcher's sidearm. With this revelation O'Salis volunteered himself to fill Kerrik's place wherein he serves to this day.
